15th,16th Consett meet (unused woodland very late notice)!

Hi guys we have a meet arranged for tommorow night and sat night at a pristine bit of woodland near Consett 14 miles from newcastle (south,south,west) I know this is a late one but thats the way it is. We are tapping birch on the friday afternoon but would be great if others wanted to come along (last few weeks of birch sap).

Big thanks to Mr Vandeen, for the info there as i didnt even kniw that at the time i posted. But if all can make it if even for the sat night that would be class.
On another note, you may have seen this thread before but ive been talking to the manager of this place and its looking really promising! Well now this is just the kind of luck that im now getting accustomed to here!
In regard to the rearanged night out at the site i have use of, i have just been on to the landowner with another matter, and he has just forewarned me about the condition of the lane to the site! He now says that it is bearly open. I know its a pain in the **** to get to in the first place, but now the problems have worsened. Im hoping to get up there this week for a chat with him and will check things out for myself, kind of had the feeling he wasnt keen on having us there to be honest! So guys watch this space!

I didn't know about this, swmbo an I are planning on traveling to the north east this weekend if I can get my water pump repairs on friday I'm doing it myself and it's getting messy.
