Just managed to get my first ember using the bow drill.Was out with Jason Sears at the weekend and he kindly helped me put a kit together and pointed me in the right direction,just had to wait a few days to let the drills season then I was easily able to get an ember.Happy Days.:D litefoot

just took delivery of a dd travel hammock and was looking for a few pointers as to how to tie it up.it appears to have 2 lengths of green cord at either end,what is the most efficient way of getting the thing off the ground without doing myself any permanant damage while using it. :rolleyes...
