    Artistry with wire

Thats awesome. Where do you find wire of that gauge? My mom makes amazing jewelery from hammered brass and copper. She could make good money if she branched out to the internet. But she just enjoys making it, selling a few pieces and giving the rest away to loved ones.

That is awesome! Looks like a military issue sporran. Haggisheads sporran went fishing with me this weekend at a State Park(didn't catch anything). The pouch is incredibly roomy. I had my Digital camera, spare batteries,Fallkniven DC4 stone, pipe, small bag of tobacco and a tamper with room...

I know its the wrong continent, but: Dick Proenneke. I am young but still have some stresses in life. But when I read One Mans Wilderness: An Alaskan Odyssey, "Real"life melts away and it is a truly inspirational moment. Its one of the best and most enlightening books I have ever read. Heart...

Whos making xmas pressies this year instead of buying?

That saddens me to no end. A man died because people wanted to save some money on a huge television, or to get their kids an xbox so they will spend even less time outside.

    US members

One of the reasons I like it so much here, is there is more of a focus on natural materials. I know space age tarps and plastic clothing may be more effective, but I prefer wool and leather. And there seems to be a lot of like minded folk on this forum. And I agree with the above posts. Some US...

    Paracord Rifle Sling

Thanks! Only problem with a belt, it wouldn't be adjustable. And the sling is only 26 inches I think, so it would take a bit more than 80 feet of paracord....at least for me lol.

    Paracord Rifle Sling

As my outdoor tastes become more wooly and hide based, I don't find myself braiding paracord as much as I use to. But I thought I would make a contribution to the DIY forum. Heres what you can do with 80 feet of paracord, 5-6 hours and countless futile attempts at fighting off cats...
