I though Richard Graves at first but i think after a little search its Mors

thinking about it that pot crane is a bit of a give away too

Got to be Mors surely. Lofty would have been much bigger built at that age, and I can't see him wearing a civvie beret.

Ah, obviously too easy that one! I was hoping to throw people by posting a photo of a young Mors and another without the iconic beard; but the nose and enormous hands give it away.

The first photo I don’t have an exact date for but I believe it’s from the early 1960's

The second photograph was taken at Burl Rock Camp in the spring of 1971 by Tom Roycroft (of pack and snowshoe fame)

I'd be interested to know where you came across these pictures.

I made copies from Mors photo album.
