I would like to know if it is possible to setup a social groups section on this website?

in what way do you mean?? generally you get to know one another more by going to the meets, example i am traveling down to middlewood from edinburgh, not jsut because of the stuff i will learn but want to know more people from the site.

If you look at a members profile, on the bottom right it mentions membership of public groups.

I presume that means the forum has the capability to be set up for groups but I do not know what is involved or how it works.
