as ive been away for the past couple of months it was nice to get back out to the great english woodlands , the place i went to is harlston firs , owned by althorpe house and earl spencer .
the woodland is round about 500 square acres of pine , birch and oak trees

it looked great with the frost everywhere

we spent nearly 7 hours out and the dogs had alot of fun chasing rabbits and squrrials

after a couple of hours i started gettin abit peckish so out came the billy cans for ration pack grub and a nice steaming hot chocolate which the dogs wanted some of lol

IMG20101207_005.jpg

i also made a holly wreath for my nan and paps grave as i wont be in the uk over xmas which is a down fall of my job
after food and drink went we carried on walking through more frost covered trees

when the sun started setting it was hometime but i did this before we left

on the way home we had to walk through a horse field which the dogs didnt like

one of the horses tried eating the holly wreath i made which was strapped to my daysack

it was a great day out and i cant wait until im back again in 4 months to do it again

hope you enjoyed my pics everyone and i want to wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year in advance

Looks like a great day out mate...and cant beat spending a day like that with mans best friends (except they scare all the wildlife off!). Mine come with me everywhere!! Thanks for sharing the pics...

Great pics, have to say I'm really jealous that someone own's 500 acres of beautiful woodland like that just by being a posho. Not fair.

owned by earl spencer , princess dianas brother . the most upsetting thing about this woodland is the great big sawmill in the middle of it

mine are both still young so theres plenty of time for them to learn what a real walk is , i was thinking about taking them up the brampton valley here in northampton and thats a 39 mile round trip
