Hi,

I've made a few of these now, good instructions available at instructables.com thanks to stormdrane.

The wee knife is useless, but I've had it over 20yrs since I found it on a french beach :)

Cheers,
Glyn.

Looking good mate, I have made a few lanyards and also a parachor bracelet with whistle for me and the other half, find it handy when we go walking

Nice work mate!
I like to play with paracord a little bit myself ;)

Is fun to do and quite relaxing once you get past the initial compulsion to tie self in knots and after the fingers heal!

Some of the other twists can male nice lanyards and keyrings!
I'll try and post some pics later!

Nice one, look forward to them :-)

The light is a bit crap at the moment for pics but I have about a dozen keyrings waiting for posting so will take pic of those in the morning!

Have you tried keyrings?

Not yet, but I'm sure I'll be tempted when I see yours - I love a bit of man knitting in front of the telly.

cheers,
Glyn.

I have just made a lanyard for the dog whistle, its not to bad for a first go.

I got the info off that site above, well worth a look, there is all sorts on there.

Hatethatgiraffe,

They're excellent!!

You should sell them online as paracord "caterpillar keyrings" or something like that...

I might have a go at man knitting after seeing this thread.

Liam

Well those put mine to shame, nice one :)

Fancy posting a tutorial for the square keyrings?

Brilliant work,

cheers
Glyn.

I'll second that request for a tutorial, but i'd be happy to settle for a link to that, or any other, exsisting tutorials. got loads of paracord generally sitting around doing nothing, would love to have a go at some of those :)

They look a bit like those Scoobies all the kids were making a while back from plastic thread. I will have to get my daughter to do some for me I could never do them!!!

They are really good thanks for posting.

The square ones with the beads are just an ordinary square knitted patter with a bead in the middle. I didn't see those as a tutorial but if you knit one up as a square Sinnet and then burn the ends and cut them really fine so that they fit through the bead (can take a few attempts and can be frustration ahoy) and then restart the sinnet patter again!
I like to mess about and see what I can come up with.
It's normally a trial and error process and to begin with its more error than anything ;)
