I do like the look of that packaging, very clever.
If they make the "NASA" version, I will buy one even if it is dear. Having said that, I would expect that the high tech version could be made for similar money, inspite of more expensive steel. That grind, the handle material, and the handle shape, all made problems for mass production. If anyone thinks that its easy to get a knife like that produced, and keep the price down, they oughta give it a try

It's surprising what features turn out to be problematic.
I'll grant that it sucks that HMRC make any knife made overseas so dang expensive.
