Keela polo shirt. Seemed like a bargain at £8 down from £30. :)

"The ultimate wickable fabric base layer. The fabric is highly breathable and offers super-fast evaporation." according to their website. Sounds good.

A new minni greenhouse, mine was so winter battered and bent, it wont stay together, and a cheap metal, garden tower to train my jasmine up.
A gooseberry Bush, didnt find a currant bush sadly, more seeds, expecially cress, , 3 different types, one for indoors, the others for the garden.
Topped up the pasta stores, a huge bag of jasmin rice, other dried seeds and pulses for micro greens. A new hand blender, mine keeps making odd noises and at 27 yrs old, I reckon it was time to retire it,
I'd had good value for the £5 I spent then. (£10 today)
Topped up on otc meds, mouthwash etc.
Think I'm done shopping for at least a month!

A pair of spare filters for the new berkfeld water filter.

Almost bought yet another swandri coat, but at over £200 I thought better of adding to my collection. I've spent far too much this month already and we are not halfway through the month yet.

They should realy stop bringing out new designs.
It's just sooooo tempting though.
New chainsaw plugs must come first.

Some Victrinox kitchen knives. I suppose I should have some plasters as well for the little wife because she'll no doubt try and chop the ends of her fingers off when she first uses them. :lmao:
Good knives for the kitchen. I particularly like the pastry knife. Super useful & versatile.

A dozen bags of anthracite and 4 nets of wood randoms from the local fuel cash and carry. Usual monthly top up. Thankfully the price has not gone up as these are locally sourced fuels.

Arrived today a few Sofirn lights, ordered last week in their sale.

I wanted a UV light to test for fake notes etc and thought the SR23 a long lasting all rounder as it has a UV LED and 3 LEDs for normal white light. Seems good for £21.

I also wanted another long distance light and chose the SF26 as it has a claimed throw of just under 1km. It throws much further than our other torches so could well be up to spec, seems fine for £25.

I was tempted by their offer of a free 18650 battery so added the HS20 head torch in for £20 and that also seems nice and useful with one flood LED and one spot LED and it can be used with either LED or both.

A Kia EV5. Oil prices + a 120 mile round commute 3 days per week has made this a more cost effective alternative than just running a diesel into the ground.

Test drove it today and was very impressed, should arrive within a month.
If you are not allready with them check out the "octopus go" tariff. Is just about to drop to 6.5p/kWh overnight(12:30-4:30 I think?). You need an EV to be on the tariff but the whole house use is at te cheap rate overnight.

We charge our house battery on the cheap rate and us that during the day. We very rarely end up using full price leccy. They do a refferal scheme as well.
