I will. It was recommended by mountain rescue so it's probably decent. It can also be bought for £55 posted currently.
That looks ideal, really liking the focus options. Can you clarify what battery it uses? The online info from them just gives runtime etc. and not the battery type itself; is it a sealed pack with proprietary battery or does it use user-replaceable rechargeable batteries?

I'm certain it's 18650, which I much prefer over AA. I'm really looking forward to trying the focuser! The Sofirn I use most now has both a wide bulb and a spotlight bulb, and I absolutely love the wide bulb which is very wide, and zero hot spot. Not only is it great for walking in the dark but it's also great for reading because it has no hot spot. I'm hoping this Led Lenser will be the same.

Good quality, rugged, comfortable backpack with plenty of pockets. It feels really tough too like it will last a life time. It's unlikely to get used very often (other than for sleeping bag storage at home) but every now and then I require a large bag capable swallowing a weeks worth of clothes and stuff and this will be perfect for the the job. One very happy customer.

Delivery was due Monday but it just arrived!

I like it, it's not as nice a beam as on my Sofirn, it's not as wide, and there is some colour fringing towards the outer perimeter of the beam, which is disappointing, although my camera is definitely making it look quite a lot worse than what it actually is like in real life, and the tint is not so yellow in real life, either. I'm really pleased that, on wide beam, there is zero hot spot. I do really like the focuser, which makes quite a significant difference. I'm out tonight walking so I will get to test it out in the hills, more than likely in the rain.

It came with an 18650 batter that is presumably protected, because it's longer than my Sofirn 18650's, and a red and green filter. The red filter will come in very handy for astronomy/stargazing. I must remember that the green is red and the red is green!

Beam shots were taken roughly 2-3 feet from the wall, and the space between the two curtains is just over a meter.

Oh and it's not me who's been drawing on the walls, I grew out of that once I hit 30! :lmao:

Not bought, I was given this last night.

Three little led’s and small alkaline battery in the head end. (Half the length of an AAA but 6 volt. Readily available.)*

Both ends are magnetic but not enough to hold up the torch - maybe pick up pins etc.

Looked useful when I was given it. Not so sure now. It seems to be for lighting places you can’t get at to see anyway.

The case is quite heavy for such a small torch; it’s made of tactical.

I’ll leave it around for a while and see how useful it is. If it isn’t, I may keep the head as a keyring light and use the telescope as a fire bellows. It’s much stronger and bigger diameter than a car aerial.

Or I might gift it on if that thread wakes up.

Young people who know so much more of the world than do I tell me that this is the battery that powers a rabbit. Thinking Duracell, I queried “pink fluffy bunny” and I got howls of laughter. :dunno:

I think that will be really useful if combined with a long reach back scratcher.
You'll be able then to illuminate the areas you are scratching.

Ryobi chainsaw, getting old, using a saw all the time is hard work and trimming the trees should be easier, not heavy duty hence the electric, why struggle!
