Been after one for a while but to pricey as a rule. Then one popped up on Facebook £15 Needless to say I was straight on that. Fired it up for first time this morning for a quick coffee. Boiled mug water in no time. The pan also made a great comfortable cup to my surprise. So well chuffed with that

You got lucky to get the steel version instead of aluminum.
Steelpot have one ring and aluminium two rings on the mainpot.

Yes I was over the moon driving back. Just got get hang of using that wire hook handle

Do you know how to lock up the handle and hook to pour safely from the side?

That was a great buy. I have no idea whether anyone imports M40’s from Estonia at ten times the price that you paid!

Just hook the hook into the locator for the pan handle. You can pour hot water safely without the pan swivelling out of control. The hooked up handle fits in the windshield and is accessible.



In windy conditions the handle can still get hot. I usually have a pot gripper somewhere.
