Bushmoot raffle Dave Budd knife

At the summer moot in July I was lucky enough to win the raffle prize of a knife blank made by our resident blacksmith Dave Dudd.

I rooted through my firewood pile and found a nice piece of Hawthorn that looked promising.

An orange spacer finishes the look.

Finished with food safe wood oil, no stain or colouring.

With a nod to Dave with the first use – cheese!

I did!
It's made from 4mm thick 01 tool steel sheet.
the only bit i didn't do was the heat treatment.
