Dave Budd Loop Knife

I purchased a Loop Knife blade from Dave at the Bushmoot and have just handled it.
I was lucky enough to find a nicely spalted piece of Hornbeam to use for the handle.
Having created some amazing shavings



I am very pleased with the finished handle

cor, they are beautiful shavings! I had some spalted ash that I used for something a while back that was similar colour (but didn't hold together so well!).

We all look forward to seeing what your shiny new tool produces too

May be giving it a hard test this afternoon making a spoon out of a leftover piece of the Hornbeam lots of fine cuts, may take some time, as you have already seen it is well seasoned
