Can you post a pic please? xxA multi 'bead' Begleri using 2 sets of poker dice I've had kicking around for a while.
I made some candles using my new molds. I came up with an ingenious way of setting the wicks up as well which I will post in the TOP Tips thread.
Amazingly well. the base detaches from the tube and leaves the thin end exposed for an inch. It is a simple matter of just pushing it out. I was surprised at how easy it was. I bought 6 and am gona get more as I just ordered 10kg of bees wax. I will make and sell some and get my money back. Also I melt my wax in an old tea pot and when making these there is not any mess whatsoever. I use a tiny dab of plumbers putty to seal the bottom when pouring. DD xThey make a good sized candle, how well do they release the set candle?
If you are making quite a few candles I would use a long piece of wick and once the candle is set then trim close to the base - that way you don't waste too much wick.
Ps I run the wick through all the molds and corks in one go and then pull them tight one at a time thus saving loads on waste wick. I have made other candles so I have got the hang of it much more now than when I started, xThey make a good sized candle, how well do they release the set candle?

Please post details of how to make a terracota pot cooler and did you have tomato sauce with the fish fingers? we did when we were kids. xA pea wigwam, for my peas, and a fish finger sandwich for lunch.
I found some gluten free fish fingers, in morrisons yesterday.
OMG! Must have been 10 years since I had a fish finger sarnie. I'm a happy bunny.
Small pleasures.
Just waiting on some sand to make my terracotta pot cooler. Ideal for cool canned drinks in the garden, or a power cut milk keeper.
