Hi all,

This is so far off topic I thought other chat might be the best place for it.

This is my most recent and first 'big' commission.

It's a security grill for a friends door. They wanted the pattern on the glass to be easily visible with the animals taking the centre stage if you like. All of this was done long distance from measurements they sent me and I never saw the door in person. I think it came out pretty good if I do say so myself.

The main circle is quite large, but I can only just get my head through it so shouldn't be a security risk. In hindsight I'd have made the grill slightly narrower so it wouldn't impede the lock so much. It's 67cm x 107cm

Let me know what you think.
All the best

Nicely done, but can only presume the guy wants it for decorative purposes... if someone is brazen enough to smash some glass on a front door, as has been said, a boot to the bottom of the door and they're in.

For sure. IF they want to get in then this won't stop them. Though it should provide a good deterrent. The piece would have been considerably different if it were going to be purely for security. - Bigger bars, more spikes. ;)
