last two times I said I was coming, work commitment's stopped me so I refuse to comment this time, but I'm following the thread daily. 10 hour shifts at mo and call out phone 24-7 what joy. But my kits all packed from last time when I turned back 10 miles from the pub. Keep up the good work lads. Atb carl

I may have some difficulty arriving on Friday... the guy I;m coming with cant drive until Saturday, but I'd rather not miss Friday night and the fire session. i don't suppose that someone is coming in from Cambridge. I could get there by train on Friday. The other guy will arrive on Saturday and get me back to Luton on Sunday, but a lift on Friday (I'd chip in for petrol) would really help out.

Thats a shame, I start a new job on Tuesday in Bury St Edmunds, according to to my contract I should be finishing at 12:30 on Fridays, but until I get nearer the day I dont know for sure if I will have to work overtime... if I do finish at 12:30 I could give you a lift from Bury on the Friday, once I am at work I will know how the land lies....

I picked up a bear compound at the car boot last weekend, only got one arrow for it though.

A Fred Bear? I had one of those 30 years ago. I'm pretty sure that I still have it back in the States!

Thats no problem Mark, let me know what time your getting there, and i'll keep my phone on for that time then will walk down the pub to meet you, just a heads up call about 10 mins before you get to the pub as some find that the signal is not very good there

Stu: thanks… that sounds great. We'll shoot for 9am, unless that's too early. I'll let you know with certainty next week. A couple of questions…. will we be driving from the pub to the site (or nearby?) I'd just like to know whether the car will be left at the pub; whether we'll lugging our gear for 20 minutes; or whether we'll have the car reasonably nearby, so that we could make another trip for extra stuff (like a chair.)

We leave our cars near the farmer's house which is around 800yd from the woods, there is also a stand pipe by the house.
