Hey all,
Long time backpacker just getting into Bushcraft. Have enjoyed lurking so far and seeing all of the great pics and info. Went on a week long canoe trip recently with a buddy and was thinking about developing some more practical survival skills in the event that I only have a few essentials with me when the time comes.
I would also like to develop a better balance between my ultra light gear / modern luxuries (ie titanium cookware, etc) and real world scenarios. Looking forward to stepping up my game.
I also made the mistake of handling a few Gransfors Bruks axes at the canoe outfitter we used in the Adirondacks. Now I am unreasonably preoccupied with them. I've never experienced a tool having such an impact on me as soon as I picked it up. Truly a work of art!
Thanks!
-Tim
