i know shepherds used to put a hot boiled turnip on a rams horn to soften it so it can be bent to prevent it from growing towards its face.I also read somewhere that a hot air gun can be used to bend ramshorn so i think using the forge is his prefered method........Grip
Well I've learnt something new. Thanks. It just never occurred to be to try using heat to mould it into a usable shape. Ask me how stoopid I feel now?
I have a piece of ram's horn I got off of Mountainm a while ago but since it's curved there aren't many uses I can find for it. Knowing it can be shaped opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Ta muchly.
