Its coming to that time of year again, and I'm looking for some nice recipes from all you good people:) Preferably warm, but I'm open to all suggestions!

Hot chocolate & Tia Maria.

Here's an old recipe for Finnish Defence Forces' patrol potion: 64.6 grams of sugar, 20.9 grams of ovaltine, 14.3 grams of powdered milk, 2.1 grams of "binder", 1.1 grams of spirit, 0.5 grams of gelatin or similar, water to make a liter.

Hot Chocolate and brandy

Ovaltine and whisky

Strong sweet coffee and Rum

A nice one but not warm is a brandy Alexander, single cream, brandy, Creme De Cacao with grated nutmeg and or chocolate to taste.

I like recipes to be dead simple so...

A tiny smidgen of water with a glass of Laphroaig to take the bitterness off the water.

Percy Special - cherry brandy and whisky. Very nice but too tasty!

Whisky mac - ginger wine and whisky

Slow gin.

Good job I've got a 3 bottled hunting flask!!

i recommend Drambuie and single malt (Glenmorangie works best), its my year round warmer :)

some may say its not nice doing that to a malt but its just nowhere near as smooth with blended scotch

I enjoy a rusty nail too.

Banana cooked in skin on coals, split open, with Drambuie poured in.

Or my favourite for really cold weather is a simple double jagermeister.

If the above don't work, a pint of bitter is quite good, served by a roaring fire in your local!

Am I the only one thinking that alcohol and cold weather are a bad combination?

Just a hot chocolate for me, thanks.

Good point and yes, a very bad idea if your cold, exposed to the elements etc where drinking alcohol may cool the body. In the comfort of a warm tent you'll come to no more harm than sitting in your warm house having a drink.

I can see a day in the not so distant future where we will all be obliged to add a disclaimer to our posts.
