I though that i was a fairly over the top health and safety tree surgeon!
Had dismantled a dead tree, and was just taking it down to a stump, took my hand off the chainsaw to stop the stump landing in a pond (automatic reaction) chainsaw still going, changed my mind, but too late, it met with the chainsaw!
Oop's, I know better than that.
Glad i was wearing my watch, which i never wear!, it saved my hand!
I always learn the hard way!

The hard lessons always carry the best teachings :)

Unlucky thing to happen, just shows that accidents happen even to those with respect for the dangers. :)

SHMBO has told me NOT to buy a chainsaw or use one after seeing that photo, Get well soon mate as we still need you as camp tea boy, with honours.

I think my hand was just glad to at the end of my arm still!!:lmao:

Not as much as i was when i saw it happen:yikes:, have to admit i thought the worst initially, as you would of course when chainsaw meets flesh & blood.

Was good to see you back up the lakes this afternoon after your trip to A&E, just take it easy and get healed up.
