Hi Guys, once again Dave and I are doing our best to provide you all a welcome bag on arrival.
I can't thank those members enough that turned up with items they had made last year they enriched the bags so much and
I am humbled by the effort you put in!
Once again if you'd like to contribute we...
So the Mad One and I have booked a few days off together 1st week in June.
We've booked 2 nights at http://www.wookeyfarm.com/
1st & 2nd June.
We're now looking for somewhere else for 3rd to 7th.
Needs to be Dog Friendly for Frodo. Campervan Friendly for the big red bus and open fire or firepit...
I've just logged on to my paypal account and found that the good folks at SO publications who release the Bushcrafting Magazine have taken their next years subscription by retaining my details from last year, not asking me, and deciding to help themselves to £29.00 out of my bank account without...
Hi there all my foody friends.
For Christmas my lovely hubby Dave bought for me a book entitled.
The Campervan Cookbook by Martin Dorey.
The book is full of all kinds of interesting recipes not only for cooking in the two rings in your van but also on open fire.
He also goes into foraging...
HI THERE!
I'm just getting started on the bushmoot Goody Bags which from now on will be called BUSHY BAGS.
Last year some of you came forward offering a few homemade items to go in the bags and seemed to be under the impression that they would need to provide one for each bag we made up...
This is a serious swap offer, I don't know what I want so probably best to ask Maddave if you have anything he may be interested in, all I really want is a good home, someone with a little bit of land and some time for them.
There will be no money asked for at all, they're pets with benefits...

This campsite is my ideal, virutally no facilities except water (which you have to boil) and toilets/shower.
They have no licence so can only have camping 28 days a year.
it costs £5 per person...
Working n an office it's not a good idea to take ones bag straight back to wrk after a weekend away without at least checking what you've dumped in there.
I still had my neck knife in my bag this week, and a block of unopened cheese from last weeks camping....
DOH!
I promised those companies who supplied items for the goodie bags that were not just leaflets that they would get a mention and a link.#
The ONLY Outdoor related company to come forward with anything at all was RONNIE SUNSHINES.
They donated your boot polish.
Here is their link please mention...
Oh how I hate em!
I was bitten by one 4 years ago in Canada and had undiagnosed untreated Lyme disease for over a month.
Upshot is I now still get flare ups.
We've been labouring under a diagnosis of Glandular Fever now but putting it all together it Lyme Time again.
I'll know for sure when...
Hi Guys,
This is a little bit fraintic of me I know so forgive me:
I need a member of the Forum based in Nottingham to let me know if they can pick something up to bring to the bushmoot???
I've had boots the chemist on offering some stuff for the goody bags and typical really the offer has...
I made the mistake of buying dave some UK made Biltong and Jerky on Sunday. He's fallen in love with the stuff and feels my dehydrator can be used for better purpose than tasty herbage for bunnys. Trouble is I have not got the first clue in making it.
Does anyone have some easy recipes and...
One of our ducks has taken it upon herself to nest, she's currently sat on a batch of about 8 eggs, probably more if they layed again last night. Shes gone all defensive on us but did come out for a bath and some food today.
I may have to buy shop bought eggs this week! (DISASTER!!)
She will...
I'm after some Combat pants for women.
NOT fashion pants, I want them nice and closely cut on the legs to stop midgies getting up there and shaped to stay up and not reveal half my bum when I bend over.
I don't want blokes ones the're cut different at the top and not as comfortable.
I also...
In an effort to improve my camp kitchen and replace the ancient camp kitchen knife we have at the moment.
(I think it's a 20 year old mora with a pine handle ruined by someone "borrowing" it on a group camp and returning it back by burying it up to the hilt in the ground outside our tent.)...
Hello!
I'm Jules.
I'm married to Maddave.
(And am otherwise referred to as his handler.....)
I live in Manchester and would call myself more of a campcrafter than a bushcrafter but as I prefer camp sites which are quiet, have little or no
facilities and can have open fires my heart is...
