Quick and dirty hacksaw I made at work. It might not be pretty but it cut through a 2" steel tube.

Just tied 38 consecutive bowlines. It’s done. The crazy quasi tipi is repaired, waterproofed and completely re-rigged.

Fly tipped rubbish down my road. -_-

Young swallows repairing an old nest, possibly where one was born. We had a nest here on the loggia of our apartment in the South of France but following a predation by a hawk the nest had remained unused for some years. It seems a bit late to breed but I'd like to hear any thoughts on swallow breeding habits.

The pair mostly ignore us,flying in over our heads as we sit at the table.

Some tit fell down my chimney yesterday. I gave it a wash off because its eyes were gunked up with soot.

The sheep were up bright and early up on the hills, well, not so bright!
