I couldn't find anywhere to park at Buttermere and conditions were great but I was a schedule to collect something in Keswick. I stopped at Ashness Jetty as I had a just enough time but some people were trying video a guy in a coracle so the jetty was out so I got this

I have not shot much down there other than the wildlife and I am tending to work closer to home on that as I am recording the local adders.
I will maybe take a shot or two when I am next down there

Out for a walk on the hills and lo and behold what do I see but a single cowslip in bloom.
Poor little chap, all alone - a single flower trying to shine on a dismal day.
But hey, we've all been that little flower at one time or another, eh?

A very blustery walk on the Downs.
White and dog violets living together, in harmony (that's beautiful, man!)...

The ever present kestrels, as lovely as ever...

And the lizards are active. Unsure of gender on this one, but a sub-adult probably born only last Summer...
