Watched a blue tit giving serious consideration and trying to peck wider one of the holes on the access panel on a lamp post yesterday The birds are already paired up. The buds are swelling on bushes and trees, though the green's not showing 'just' yet. The air's definitely changing though and the extra light in the day is a pleasure.
Yup, and the bloody oyster catchers are doing their daily/nightly job of keeping me awake with their infernal racket, it's as well for them they're protected.
Excellent post, yep, I agree, we had some sun yesterday, it's good today (must just be over your house John ) I'm looking forward to spring, had my arm in a sling for 5 weeks now after an op so with spring should be getting to use the arm again, I do hope that we have a drier year in 2013, but hey, it's nicer out now than it's been for ages to i'm celebrating that
