Wool jerkin 100% Yugoslavian wool,
Had this critter cut out for months finally got round to putting it together

Plus it gave me a reason to use ye-olde button holer

No the model from "Next" but you get the idea

That came out great! I like the whole "sleeveless" "vest" "jerkin" idea. Wish I had more to wear in that category. Kudos to you for having the skill to make that!

Very nice, I notice that the shoulders are raised instead of being fitted to the shoulder which seems common to all such efforts. Had the same problem with a Renaissance jerkin.

I think the shoulder problem is down to the size of the shoulder on the garment. I made mine only 3 fingers wide in width.
