I am looking to get myself a woodwork bench, but have been having trouble finding ones cheaply on eBay. The price of a courier service alone to get it delivered is often more than the bench itself, too.
If anyone has one they no longer need, or knows of where I might find one (outside of eBay or Gumtree), then please let me know. It is going to get abused so I just need something solid and heavy with a thick worktop, and preferably with a big record vice attached, i.e. like the old school benches.
I do not currently have the means to make myself one, and am not able to spend a huge amount of money on one.
I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions or offers. And I am based Wiltshire in case that helps.
