Finished this today, tis for a customer overseas. a shoulder bag for his wife in my woodland pouch style. i used reindeer leather for the pouch part this time as the colour is just braw. the leaf flap is 4mm veg tan dyed with light brown fiebings oil dye. edge coated and gum trag'd. veg tan strap with brass buckle. and braided goat leather for the thongs with some chunky yew beads. all hand stitched with waxed linen thread too.
not turned out as well as i would have liked. was supposed to use d-rings on the bag but didnt realise i had ran out and pushed for time so improvised with some hoops i found. and really unhappy with the flap but all in all got it finished in time and this was my first time using oil dye which was fun to use as im used to water based dyes.
thanks for looking
