wood spirit

Hello everyone,
spent a few hours sat outside tonight after tea.Nice evening so, i decided to carve a wood spirit. Not made one for a while.The tools that i used to make him were, a flexcut detail knife and a Robert Sorby 3mm v palm tool, for the hair detail.The wood is a peice of seasoned ash. He has been finished with a light oak wood stain.

Thanks for the nice comments chaps. I carved him a bit to close to the end of the wood.I cant give him a pointy hat thing.Never mind,plenty more wood for the next one.

Nicely done now gotta try this myself now that I got a couple proper carving knives

Still trying to carve a woodspirit. Keep ending up like tree spirits. I will get there in the end. practise makes perfect or sends you mad. One or the other
