I was reading Harold Gatty's book 'Finding your way without map or compass' late last night, and there's a section where he show's a photo and goes through how you can train your observation skills by analysing photos. The photo had a house, trees and mountains. He said the house looked like it was a northern english style, the trees showed which way was north, and the mountains showed that it sure wasn't somewhere in the rolling south.
Who wants to try something like that on here? We can post photos, and give everyone while to analyse them and try to figure out where they were taken, etc, and then eventually give the answer. I'll finally get around to paying up for my membership in the next couple of days, so I'll be able to post photos, too.
