Hi all, haven't been to the site for a while now but need a little help.
I have an f1 with a dangler sheath. I while ago I took out the metal ring that joins the scabbard to the belt loop so that I could put it around my neck. Never liked the idea and ended up making my own sheath for it anyway.

I want to fix the original dangler sheath and I dont have the time to make a new one from scratch. The job looks easy with the need for a few rivets and a new loop. I am not sure which bits to get from le prevo if I order on line and I would much prefer a reasonable price for someone else to fix it.

Is there anyone here who can do it for a reasonable price?
Can anyone advise which bits I would need to order if I did it myself?
Could a high street cobbler do a good enough job?

Cheers all

as it will not have to take a huge amount of stress (weight) a split d-ring would work well - you just open the ring enough toget the loops trough and then close it again.

depending ons the size of the loops I may have one that would fit - let me know I could always drop it in the post;)

if it is more of a job where you need to remake / mend the loops I could sort that too if you need.

Cheers guys, the loops are fine.
I think I will take your advice G4 and get a split D ring. That shouldn't take me too long to sort out. I think the original was a split ring because that is howI got it off in the first place.

Thanks very much
