Has anyone any clues on what UK company makes the Arctic white wool socks?

I am not finding the company that manufactures them. Most of the time the socks turn up used and not in the size I want them so I thought if the company was known I could get them straight from them or they would give a hint on finding new ones.

How do the Arctic wool socks compare to the Seaboot wool socks? I saw the Seaboot wool socks on the outdoorknitwear UK site-this company says they are the manufacturers of the woolly pully patch sweater and they have Seaboot socks on there-but no Arctic wool socks.

Ideas? Thoughts?

Thanks!

No details on outdoorknitwear re- wool content for those sb socks.
£6.99 a bit cheap for arctic quality imho.
Endicotts should be able to sort you issue arctic socks in your size.
Various types at least 80% wool ( the Dutch are good too).

Best.

Chris the Cat,

don't leave us sockless...tell us about these socks from the 1950s!
Thanks for the Endicotts suggestion.

Toddy-thanks for link.

Old stock from a half hidden store room in Endicotts that Kev ( owner ) found.
Bought by his father before him!
He knows I am into my wool and gave me a shout.
Not sure if he has any left BUT he does have the best range of wool issue socks that I know of
including dead stock ( new/old ) vintage wool.
Give him a shout, he is in the shop today, tell him CtC sent you.
My advice, not that you asked mind you!! Keep the wool content 80% or higher.

Good luck and let us know.

Best.

Chris.
