This is an appeal to any of you talented sheath makers out there!:D

I am after a new sheath for my paul harris woodlore clone either in thick leather or kydex.
i want it to be a horizontal carry worn on the lower back like the teddy bear grylls style.
this is because i fid it alot easier to conceal and i also find it more comfortable when moving around!

so if anybody thinks they can help then please contact me to discuss further!

Many thanks guys!

Hello Dan:) A bit like this do you mean;)

I did one a while ago for a Stuart Mitchell knife, i was interested in the design of the Grylls sheath.
In all honesty i wasn't that into it when i tried it and went for a more conventional design for my own sheath for the same sort of knife but to each his own.
I will try and find some pic's

Here you go, same knives / different carry.
The top one wears horizontally across your back and blends in with your belt, very discrete and easy to draw but not as easy to re sheath the knife.

This one is obviously easier to access the knife but not very discrete and it's easy to cut the sheath.

Personally if i was going for this style I'd have it made in kydex, it's more secure and won't be as easily cut up when trying to re sheath the knife.

cheers for that rapidboy! any ideas on where i could get a kydex version made in the uk??

dont fancy sending my knife to the states!
