White Squirrel

Like most people I have seen lots of grey squirrels, being up here in Scotland I have also been lucky to see red squirrels, but now I have the pleasure of having a white squirrel on my door step.
Iv been feeding it peanuts for a while now, and manage to capture this shot.

Anyone else seen one ?

Gotta say it. It's rather cute even if it is a grey.

I can see it is an albino from the first pic. No other mutation exists like , except albinim.
But is it a Grey?
If yes, kill it and eat it....

Ah got you now Janne I`m afraid I have no idea if its from grey or red.

I`m afraid I have no idea if its from grey or red.

The lack of ear tufts indicates it's a Grey Squirell and at odd's of less than 1 in 100,000 occurring they're pretty rare.

Thanks for that Mesquite, I did think about the tufts, but i`m no expert on squirrels.

I've had one around here. Although it's white, not albino (black eyes and dark nose).
