Where's the path - website

Just been told about this website

It allows you to compare side by side OS maps of various ages and aerial photos - could be of use to people wanting to study local history or get a map reference from an aerial photo - on the other hand it could just be solution in search of a problem.

Wow thanks. That has some use for me as I do my own family history. I like how they are side by side, I have often found myself on googlemaps looking at an area and then trying to find it on the OS map and switching between the two for ages.

This is a really good find, although the coverage of the 30s & 40s OS maps arent that great....well for where I was looking at anyway. What would be good is to have more old maps and I can see the use get better.

It is a cool website, found it last year, suppose you have seen this OS overlay within Google Earth too ?
