what a superb thread, thanks Ivan

terrain - the moors

tool - an axe, although i do seem to find myself doing more and more with a knife these days

tree - fraxinus excelsior (common ash to most of us) burns as well green as it does seasoned, great for tools, makes lovely bows.

animals - i don't know, i like badgers a lot but watching the robins defend my back garden against all comers always brings a smile to my face

colour - pink, seriously. i'm in the proccess of decorating my house at the moment and i'm torn between "babe" and "sexy girl" for my bedroom. anyone got a problem with that?

Terrain - Woodland, preferably in a wood that contains both broad leaf and needles

Tool - Full Tank high carbon steel 4mm thick knife

Tree - Birch, just because of the number of things it can provide, tinder, canoe, oil, rope from roots, great kindling, razor strop fungus, containers

Animal - Wolf, I love how they work as a family

Colour - Green

:D Neat thread

Terrain.......Deciduous Woodland near water

Tool......this week, a sickle

Tree......Silver Birch

Animal......Cat

Colour......moss green

Terrain....Wooded but don't really have a specific preference

Tool...... Like Bojit said above: a claw hammer. I'm a carpenter joiner too. I love my 30 year old Estwing 20oz.

Tree....Don't mind so long as it's sawn into planks and is big eough to make something useful out of, though they are nice dotted about decorating the countryside too.

Animal.... Human female. Just fascinating creatures, I could watch them for hours, never understand 'em though. Love my black Labrador Oscar though. He's a goooood dog, yes he is.

Colour..... greenishblueygreyishmottledredishbrownyyellow.

As has been said very good thread Ivan, great intro mate!

Terrain - anything but jungle :)

Tool - one fitted to the job in hand...usually a knife for me!

Tree - Oak

Animal - elephant

Colour - Olive Green

that is todays choice - but I am fickle!

Terrain - Broad leafed woodland for me (always reminds me of adventures when growing up)

Tool - Full tang fixed blade (strong and damn sexy if you look in the right place)

Tree - Birch (very useful and tasty sap lol)

Animal - otter (basically perfect for its environment and bloody clever too)

Colour - Green (just is)

And welcome to the forums BTW

Dave
