An Easy one is go to this years bushmoot !

A harder one is how do i persuade the wife to let me go to the bushmoot !

Craig............

Not necessarily long term, but i want to get out for at least 3 weekends this year with minimal gear and try and put into practice all that i have read and learned. that will be 3 weekends more than i have done before!

first off re-fit all my survival and 1st aid kits with new stufff ..not really a project but i need to buckle down and get a new Jeep this year (old veh. falling apart)...vince g. 11B INf..

Learn how to rig a tarp and hang a hammock and spend some nights in the woods with my Son who is 10 and autistic.......Bear Grylls is his idol, along with Steve Irwin and Indiana Jones.

Leave my wife,...... Finish at least one oil painting,...... participate in an orgy......, walk a few long distance footpaths, wild camping as I go, ......commit suicide,..........................................but not necessaryly in that order.
If I achieve more than one of these things, I'll die a happy man.

I'd leave out the oil painting and the suicide could be put off for a while , but not bad goals to have .

Craig.........

Oil painting, orgies and suicide are all over rated - the walks see to project one (at least in the short term) - I would go in order of projects - 4 (1)....and see how much time you have left for 3 and 2. I would bin 5 as it gets in the way of 4 3 and 2.

Couldn't give us your previous girl friends number could you.?...........................

I could but mate you would not thank me. She was too much of a 'look at me, aren't I pretty' type of woman. But what a wild time - it was like that song by The Eages 'Life in the fast lane'

Prehaps you're right, I'll stick with the Susan Boyle lookalikes I'm used to then....................still you had my heart racing, for a moment there........... hope she was french,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'll still add her to my project list though,

My plan - to do less woodsbumming. Get 200 sq ft of greenhouses bought and erected, work on our wildflower mini-orchard. Mark out and get veg beds put in. Get the wood pile up to two years worth of heating to allow for seasoning and rotation

1. Be brave, throw in my job, find a life that's less damaging, its the leap that's hard

2. get my forest school leader award and get some children or damaged adults or both, out in the woods and enjoying themselves

Can I combine the two and keep a roof over my head, that's the question.

It's not the leap that's difficult, it's the fear of not knowing where your're going to land. If you have something burning inside of you, do it, whatever the consequencies, you never Know, life may be kind to you,
