What on earth! id help pretty please

Whilst on holiday in the new forest i stumbled across these two..... the first one i have seen before i think and attempting to look into it i think it may be a member of the pink family?? but not really sure!! the second i have never seen before!!, it was on the side of the road on open heathland, i reckon its from a seed of someones shoe but who knows!!

Not sure what the first one is but the second is Aquilegia... a very common garden plant that has some lovely colours but that one is its wild cousin
