Can't see the pic Mark. IT bods here have set the settings. (on the computer, not on the forum) I never get to see ANY of the pictures people post. :( I don't think I can change them as they're locked by IT.

Are they native to the British Isles / Western Europe? As I've seen them near uni ... for about 3 years now (every year with aprox. 3-4 chicks). Before I'd never seen them before in my life
'My' geese had 4 chicks, and are growing really fast! Hadn't seen them for about a week and they weren't babies anylonger: feather pack is turning like their parents, grown bigger, etc.
Defensive mum (or dad) too!

without a shadow of a doubt!
we get alot of them visiting the Norfolk broads(manmade lakes from digging out peat)

i was speaking to a nature warden about these egyptian geese and they are so called because the markings around the eye area look just like the eye make up of the ancient egyptian pheroes and leaders like cleopatra (sorry about the spelling).

And from the angle of the light I'd say it was taken at about half past two in the afternoon (given the current declination in the South-West of the UK)

Oh and from the look of the water I'd say it was taken on Sunday.

Close Mark? ;)
