I have no idea.
Very capable fellow, with a lot of friends, and he could be both helpful and generous, but a nightmare to Mod on a forum rooted in the Boss's living room kind of thing.
Is he no longer active on other forums ?

I had heard that he had a stroke last year and was out of knife making
I don't know if that is true.

Last I heard he was living down Portsmouth way and had given up on knifemaking

I'm sorry to hear of the stroke.
That's a misery for anyone to bear, let alone the family who worrry.
I hope he makes a sound recovery.

Last I heard he was doing ok, or rather he was improving after a couple fo rough years, heart attack in 2017 and a stroke 2019, I think he's had some motor function issues, I imagine that he's working at overcoming them and having success, I know that he was getting back out camping etc.
