I believe it's a snipers sleeping bag. I came across one recently in my search for a bivvy. Looks a bit past it to me and not very warm.
Here's one for £40. looks better somehow and iv'e just seen a brand new one for £60. How much does ebay want?

Hi had the same 25 years ago when I still lived in germany.
They suck big time, cold and start to smell very fast.

I had one for sale at the Wilderness Gathering. I was only asking £25 and it didn't sell.

I have used it a couple of times. It is PU rubber coated so not breathable. It has bugger all insulation so it's not very warm, and It weighs more than all my other kit put together.

I may hang on to it for novelty value, or to lend to someone I don't like very much.

I used one in the TA,they are rubbish,and yes they start to smell in no time.
