Its a good price, but it isn't the one I got Chas. . Wetterlings do a "hand forged" range and a basic range. This one is the basic range. Note the lack of forge markes on the head, no leather mask and a few other points. The one I have is sub 10" long rather than the 12 odd inches of this one.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not knocking this axe, its justy a different range. If you coullect one from the store for the £12.99 price it would be a good deal. The belt axe is the name of the real tiny one (try Timberguy in the US - on E-bay - nice guy)

:( thats a shame I was hoping I had spotted a supply that other members on the forum could use. Fortunately on the subject of mini-axes I am ok her indoors actually got me a usefull present this year a Gransfors Mini which meant I was not too much use xmas day, I was too busy trying it out!

Good pressie!

Nothing really wrong with that Wetterlings BTW, its just a different model and more factory than hand made. Doesn't mean its not a good axe (it would need a mask making though, which might well bump the price to well over £30 if one used the "buy it now" price). At that price, I suspect there are other deals to be considered
