No hesitation in saying last night was my most deep, comfortable and enjoyable outdoor sleep yet.
I had my dinner and a hot chocolate from the hammock around 5.30pm and nodded off for an hour to the sound of the birds, up to water the foliage then sent off to sleep by more bird song and rain on the tarp....like white noise hypnotherapy!
Other than foliage watering twice I slept through to around 5am and enjoyed the dawn chorus with a couple of coffees and breakfast from the hammock. Didn’t want to leave...

Very brief <1min video of the sounds that sent me to sleep then the sounds that I woke to .....

Yeah, that's the good stuff right there.

We spend hours playing with our shiny toys.
But when it comes down to it.
These are the memories I hold close to my heart.
Definitely.
Bit poignant at the moment...just had a painful bunion type surgery, so I’m most likely unable to walk far for several weeks.

How on earth did you ever coax yourself out of the cot in the morning?
If I needed to do my doodle, I'd be back in the sack faster than you would think I could move.
I turn on a 15cm/6" fan in the bedroom and imagine that I've gone out.

Thank you for the pictures. I enjoy seeing what you see in a different forest of the world.

It’s a struggle to get out of the hammock, but it is best to deal with the foliage watering as soon as need is felt, I’ve found; then I get a quicker return to the cocoon of comfort!

You’re most welcome, I enjoy capturing small clips to aid memory of the moments that make me tick.
