Aaah all praise is for Sam - all I do is make gingerbread which is the easy part......although the house now smells of baking flapjacks and I always like that smell

Its sort of a family tradition for my daughter and I to cook when she is back from Uni. She is now at the point where when she is in a hard point of study or whatever she shoots me an e-mail saying "can we make.......?". Usually I will try to grow whats needed for the chutneys, pickles and main meals and we work on recipes together. Its a lovely way to spend time together....and costs nothing since we would be eating anyway! She already beats me hollow at baking and hand made bread....but I am maintaining a slender lead on the pickles and chutneys and sauces

These look great! But I think someone might have run over your Elves, they look a bit 2D. Aren't Elves usually a bit plumper than that at Christmas :-D
