Having a quick look though my rather extensive condiment stash.

I seem to have a lot of those Wasabi sachets you get with Sushi packs. I use the ginger in stews but am at a loss as to what to do with the wasabi.

Save it for chutney? (Always a great way to use up mystifying edibles)

Wasabi is great for pest control....

All types of pest, even the in-laws , kids and wives etc...

Applications only limited by imagination. 😉

All you've really got is lots of packets of horseradish sauce dyed green so put it on beef and steak.

To be fair, all real wasabi is is Japanese horseradish. But yeah, just use it like you would any other horseradish.

On a side note, I wish they had those packets here! Our Chinese take-out places only have packets of soy sauce, Chinese mustard, and duck sauce (all of which are usually already cooked into the food anyway)

I forgot...but I have a jar of horseradish sauce in my condiments for that.

Ill try it next time I have a beef stew
