Hey Tengu, hope you are well. Is it for a stove? If so, the ones I've seen are all short, and not high enough, solution- cerial bow cut a shape and score some " folds" in it, then glue some tin foil to that, hey presto cheapo windsheild! Don't know if it's any use to you, Thanks, Andy

can you be more specific? what type of windshield?

the foil type that go with MSR stoves?
The concertina aluminium ones that look like a mini changing screen?

a piccie of the sort of thing you're after would help

I made one like that (screen type) a few years a go out of a cardboard board and some tin foil and a bit of duck tape. all you do is cut several strips of card lie them in a row with ~0.5cm gap between them. join them together with 2 strips of duck tape (horizontal) around the front and back. then wrap it all in tin foil and use another bit of duck tape to stop the tin foil unravelling. there you go one very cheap/very lightweight windshield
