Wanted, LARGE Kuksa

Great, boils a cup of water in no time. Problem is it boils exactly 250ml of water and this is too much for my current Kuksa. So looking for a Kuksa that will hold about 300ml (to allow for milk etc)

Anyone got something that fits the bill before I start eyeing up birch logs

I believe Wayland got a large Kuksa from Debs who found it at a market in Manchester last year. I think it was a Norwegian market around Christmas time, so you may have a wait until the next one!

have you tried one of the plastic kuksa, the tear drop shaped ones?

It's Old Norse, Late Younger Futhark and it's from the tenth stanza of the Havamal. (found in the Poetic Edda.)

It translates roughly as:

A better burden
no man bears on the way
than much good sense;
that is thought better than riches
in a strange place.
