Viyella Wool shooting jacket

Just went to buy a new suit for the wife at the outlet village and saw shooting jackets in Austin Reed. They had Olive in Italian fabric and tweed pattern in English, both down to £165 from £330 and both stunning. I had to make a tough choice between them, but went English in the end.

I've never owned a ventile.

I have a Fjallraven, Barbour, Montane, Alpha Mikey but no Ventile...yet.

I love tweed jackets, warm, tough, quiet and blends in better than single colour. Also doesn't raise an eyebrow in pub, wood or field. Best of all they are properly English!
