This is very interesting video by the National Film Board of Canada from 1974 that follows three Cree families in the wilderness of northern Quebec, Canada (a wilderness area about the size of Western Europe) that live and work together over a winter's hunting and trapping season. Even in modern times, the Cree still try and maintain the hunter and trapper lifestyle. They use a mix of the old ways plus new technology when it suits them.
Unfortunately, their video cannot be directly shown on the forum, so you have to go to the NFB's website to watch it. It's about an hour long.
