Interesting idea - but Fugly shoes!
I am not at all sure this would survive the real world ....

It's nothing more than a gimmick. Ventile is not waterproof enough to keep your feet dry when slogging through puddles and is not that breathable once it is wet, which will happen pretty quickly when in direct contact with the perspiration from your feet. I would rather go with a Gore-Tex shoe which is at least waterproof, although not particularly breathable, or a cloth show which is breathable, but does not pretend to be waterproof.

Not usually a fan of the more fashion type shoes but I think they look pretty cool.
I dont think they are made for climbing hills or need deep fun in the muddy woods. They are white after all!

I can't see how ventile would be a good material for shoes. Too fragile and prone to wear along creases for one thing.
