Wanted some little straps to attach some bits to my Molle coated pack, as well as to replace the ones that rotted off my trail cams. The cheapest ones I could find are the Highlander ones at about £2.50 each (25mm/1m) but I wanted 20mm straps to fit through the camera mountings.
Having my new sewing machine, I ordered enough stuff to make 10 straps - they really don't take very long to make and cost under 70p each (not including thread, which was £7.35 for 20,000m - I reckon these use well under 2m each, which is less than 1/10th of a penny, so essentially free). It's overlocking thread - labelled TKT120/TEX027)
They're actually olive green but look darker on the photo.
